Fishing

R-Ranch hosts a 7.5-acre diameter lake which is excellent for fishing. We also offer fantastic trout fishing in the Kern River, located right next to our ranch.

Fishing License

Fishing Licenses are required for anyone 16 years or older to fish in the lake.

Pedal Boat

Pedal boats and canoes are available for use on the lake. However, everyone must wear a life vest when on the water which you can check-out at Security.

Guidelines

Fishing Guidelines – Bass must be 15” long & 2 Limit per person and a maximum of 5 sunfish (bluegill and crappy) per day per person.

Fishing Tackle

Fishing tackle is available at the general store.
